The 73rd Republic Day was celebrated on January 26 at the school ground. The students took pride in glorifying and celebrating the spirit of unity and brotherhood. The event began at 8:25 am with the hoisting of the Indian National Flag by the Chief Guest, Honourable Chiranjeevi Reddy Sir followed by the National Anthem. The students performed different type of drills on patriotic tunes. The school echoed with patriotic fervour as the children danced to the tunes of patriotism, enacted skits, sang patriotic songs, and even put tri-coloured flag batches on their clothes to mark the occasion.

The students who won various cultural and literary competitions held during the year were felicitated by Chiranjeevi Reddy Sir and the Guest of Honour Sushila Reddy ma’am.

The Chief Guest during the address highlighted the significance of the day, and made the children aware that the future of their country lies in their hands. Hence they need to study well now and inculcate good values in life, which will help them to be good citizens of the country.

The Program was concluded with distribution of snacks to all the students and parents invited for the program.
