Gandhi Jayanti is observed by the entire nation to commemorate the birth anniversary of the father of our nation, Mahatma Gandhi. Our students too celebrated Bapu’s birth anniversary with zeal, enthusiasm and a patriotic feeling.

The programme commenced with few students dressed as Bapu telling his memorable words of inspiration- “Be the change that you wish to see in the world”.

A brief introduction of Gandhiji and his role in achieving freedom for India was explained by the students. Later in class, the teachers told the children, the importance of what Gandhiji taught and why it is still important today. Primary classes discussed about the three wise monkeys with placards made of the 3 rules- “See no evil, hear no evil and speak no evil”.
