14 November 2021 ~ Children’s Day, also known as Bal Diwas was celebrated with immense joy, enthusiasm and magnificence.

It is the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India. The day is made special for children through the types of programs they choose to do. Teachers make it a point to participate in the children’s day function to cheer up the kids and make their day memorable.

Nehru’s birthday is celebrated as Children’s day because he was very fond of children. He once said that children are the future of the country, so they should be given love.

Children also reciprocated their affection for him and used to call him ‘Chacha Nehru’.

The celebrations began with the Morning Prayer. Our honourable Chairman Mr.Arun Reddy lit the lamp and addressed the assembly. He gave warm wishes and good luck for their future endeavours.

It was followed by variety of fun filled activities and games planned by the teachers for their children. The teachers made Children’s Day special for their children by involving them into various games and cultural programs.

The students were overwhelmed and enjoyed the day.
